Scoring Phenology on Herbarium Specimens using Symbiota.

This workshop will train participants how to score phenology on herbarium specimens.  We will demonstrate new tools developed in Symbiota by the California Phenology TCN for collecting trait data, phenology in this case, from specimens. We will discuss draft phenology data standards and how they are handled within Symbiota and larger data aggregators.  Participates will learn how to incorporate phenological scoring into their home workflows both from phyical specimens and from images of specimens.
