Conservation Biology Stanton, Jaccob [1], Wright, Lindsay [2], Krakos, Dr. Kyra N. [3]. Microorganism Analysis of the Maryville University Freight Farm. This study looked at microorganism population levels over a three week water turnover cycle within the Maryville freight farm. Water samples were taken weekly over a three month period at various locations through the water delivery system. Populations of the microorganisms found were monitored leading up to the water in the farms delivery system being changed. Our results indicate that there is a correlation with microorganism population decline, and the change of a month's tank of water. We also found that two of the four organisms identified were a pathogen threat to the farm's crop. Log in to add this item to your schedule
