Anchored Hybrid Enrichment yields insights into Salvia (Lamiaceae) Phylogentics. Salvia (sage; Lamiaceae) is a large genus that has undergone rapid radiations in at least three distinct geographical regions (China, the Mediterranean region, Mexico/South America). The bursts of diversification have made it difficult to resolve relationships within Salvia using Sanger sequencing methods.
