Tropical Biology Frost, Laura [1], Lagomarsino, Laura [2]. Phylogeny and Biogeography of Neotropical genus Freziera (Pentaphylacaceae). Freziera comprises 75 species of trees and shrubs distributed primarily in mid-elevation moist forest throughout Central and South America. We present the first phylogeny of the group and examine biogeographic factors underlying speciation.
